As managing partner of Russell Thompson Butler & Houston’s Fairhope Office, Bill brings experience and dedication to our Eastern Shore clients. Believing in the Firm’s cornerstones of diversity of knowledge, partner involvement, local connection and Firm‘s size, Bill and the entire Fairhope team deliver the highest level of customer service and personal commitment possible to each engagement.

Bill is the youngest son of a Presbyterian Minister and was born in Mobile, Alabama, but raised across the southeast. Bill went to Auburn University where he graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Shortly after graduation, Bill returned to Mobile and was named controller for a local chain of wholesale florists which provided him with a wealth of knowledge and exposure. After leaving the florist industry, Bill went to work for a local CPA firm in Foley, Alabama and, in 1998, joined RTBH and became partner in 2003.

Bill’s industry memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

For fun, Bill enjoys golf and Auburn Football. Bill is the proud father of three children.
