A Partner You Can Count On
Since our beginning in 1987, RTBH has offered accounting and tax compliance services to not-for-profit organizations. We have expert knowledge and training of the unique accounting principles required to keep not-for-profits in compliance with requirements imposed by the Internal Revenue Service and the preparation of financial reports.
We frequently offer not-for-profit organizations in-kind contributions in the form of discounted fees for services rendered during the months of May through December. Discounted fees, however, do not translate into discounted services. Our time and commitment to accuracy is the same for all RTBH engagements. We believe in our clients’ mission and want to contribute to the foundation and strength of their organizations by being a partner they can count on.
RTBH has specialized and in-depth experience with the specific accounting and financial presentation requirements mandatory for governmental entities including state and local governments, special purpose districts, authorities and other related bodies. We provide auditing, consulting, and related professional services that may be of value to our governmental clients.
When providing services to governmental entities, we emphasize the importance of providing information and feedback to those charged with overseeing or governing the organization. We routinely meet with governing boards to review their responsibilities for overseeing the financial reporting function and to report the results of our audit or other services provided.
Credentials that count
At RTBH you will find partners and professional staff who have received continuing professional education meeting the requirements to perform audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, which is implemented and maintained by the Comptroller General of the United States, and the Single Audit Act. These specialized audits are normally required of governmental entities and also by not-for-profit organizations which receive federal funding.
