From engineering, to music, to finance, then finally to accounting, Daniel studied a little bit of everything while in college.  Deciding on a place to work, however, was a no-brainer for Daniel when he moved back to Mobile to join Russell Thompson Butler & Houston in June of 2007.  A native of Mobile, Daniel continues to be excited and driven by the business opportunities provided to him by the Firm.  His practice areas include a wide range of tax and attest engagements, primarily focusing on financial statement audits of entities, including insurance companies, employee benefit plans and construction contractors.

Daniel is a 2006 graduate of Auburn University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.  He then studied accounting for a year at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he prepared for the CPA exam.

Daniel’s varying interests still hold true as he enjoys playing golf and watching sports, as well as music, art, and cooking.  Playing and singing music for most of his life, he now composes his own music for fun and relaxation.  In addition to his hobbies, Daniel is a member of the ASCPA’s Class VI Leadership Academy and is a graduate of the Greater Mobile MS Society Leadership Class of 2015.

Daniel resides in Mobile with his wife, Kathryn, and their daughter, Perry. The Adams family enjoys traveling and loves to cheer on their alma mater, the Auburn Tigers.
