Carolyn joined RTBH in 1999 and has been a partner since 2005. Prior to joining the Firm, Carolyn spent three years in private industry as the Real Estate Development CPA for a publicly traded company. In January of 1996, the beginning of tax season, Carolyn decided to break the stigma and make the switch to public accounting. She loved the transition to public accounting finding it interesting and stimulating to provide services to clients in a variety of industries.

Carolyn currently serves as the Firm’s audit and quality control partner, a position in which she is charged with keeping abreast of all technical accounting and reporting matters pertinent to the Firm’s clients, including construction contractors, employee benefits plans, manufacturers and commercial industries.

Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves as President of Rotary Club of Mobile – Sunrise.  She serves as treasurer for The Village of Springhill and is a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Carolyn was also a member of the 2014 Leadership Class for the Greater Mobile MS Society, which raises funds and awareness for individuals suffering from multiple sclerosis.

As a wife and mother of two boys, outdoor family activities are a requirement, and she often finds herself on the sidelines for the sporting events of the season. As the boys are growing up, Carolyn encourages and facilitates their participation in community service activities that benefit local youth organizations.

When asked, “What makes you proud of to be a part of the RTBH team?”, Carolyn responds, “our genuine interest in each other’s success both personally and professionally. We value our associates and clients. We strive to foster their growth and appreciate their achievements.”
